Affiliate Disclosure
Short version: we earn a commission when you buy a product through a link on this site. It costs you nothing extra. It does not change what we publish.
The rest of this page is the long version, in plain English. No part of it is meant to be hard to read.
What a material connection is, and why we're telling you
Under the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), anyone who recommends a product while standing to gain financially from that recommendation has a material connection to the seller, and has to disclose it clearly and conspicuously — close to the recommendation, in plain language, and impossible to miss. The FTC updated these guides in June 2023, and affiliate commissions are explicitly a material connection.
We have that connection with every product reviewed on this site. So you'll find a disclosure:
- in a strip at the top of every review page, above any link to a seller;
- in a line of text underneath the main buttons in each review;
- in the footer of every page; and
- here, in full.
If you ever see a link on this site that leaves for a seller's page without a disclosure near it, that's a defect. Tell us and we'll fix it.
Who pays us
ClickBank is the affiliate network and payment processor behind all three products currently reviewed on this site. ClickBank handles the checkout, the refunds and the commission payments; the products themselves belong to their own sellers.
We are a registered ClickBank affiliate. When someone buys a product after clicking through from here, ClickBank records the sale as ours and pays us a percentage of it. Commission rates on these offers are in the region of 60–75% of the sale price, which typically works out to somewhere between about $10 and $60 per sale depending on the product.
We are not employed by, owned by, or partnered with any of these sellers beyond that affiliate relationship. We don't hold equity in them, we're not paid a retainer, and none of them commissioned the reviews.
What it costs you: nothing
The commission comes out of the seller's margin, not out of your pocket. You pay the same price buying through our link as you would typing the seller's address into your browser directly. There is no markup, no surcharge, and no reader-facing fee anywhere on this site.
We also have no exclusive discount to offer you. If a review ever does carry a genuine reader discount, we'll say where it came from.
What the commission does not change
This is the part that matters, and the reason the rest of the site is built the way it is.
It doesn't change the verdict. Our verdicts include "not worth it" and "wait". The commission is identical regardless of which one we publish.
It doesn't change the cons. Every review must carry at least three substantive drawbacks, each written out properly rather than gestured at. A review with fewer cannot be published. That rule is enforced by the site, not by our good intentions.
It doesn't change the alternatives. Every review lists at least three alternatives including at least one free option, and we earn nothing from any of them. We deliberately don't link out to competing affiliate offers.
It doesn't decide what we cover. We don't pick products by commission rate. The lowest-paying offer on this site gets the same treatment as the highest-paying one.
Sellers don't get a preview and don't get edits. No vendor sees a review before it goes live. Vendors can send factual corrections, exactly like readers can, and we check and fix genuine errors. What a vendor can't do is have a real drawback removed.
It doesn't change what we admit we don't know. Where we could not verify a seller's claim, we say so on the page rather than repeating it as fact, and we publish no numeric score. That costs us conversions. We publish it anyway.
What we don't do
No invented testimonials. No star-rating widgets or review counts we didn't earn. No "as seen on" badges or trust seals. No countdown timers, fake stock counters, or "today only" pricing. No sponsored placement, no paid rankings, and no advertising sold on this site.
Prices and guarantees are read off the seller's live order page and shown with the date we read them. We recheck monthly. If a stated price is more than 45 days old, the page stops presenting it as current.

If you find a review useful but would rather we didn't earn from your purchase, go to the seller's site directly. Nothing on this page is locked behind an affiliate link, and none of our content depends on you clicking one. Reading, sharing and quoting the reviews is free, and always will be.
