These terms govern your use of handsonverdict.com, operated by Omega Software Solutions LLC ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the site.

We've tried to keep this short and readable. Nothing here is designed to catch you out.

1. What this site is

Hands-On Verdict publishes reviews and guides about consumer products. That's all it does. There is nothing for sale here, no account to create, and no service provided to you beyond reading what we publish.

2. Informational content only — no professional advice

Everything on this site is general information published for a general audience. It is not professional advice and it is not advice about your specific situation.

We are not, and do not hold ourselves out as, licensed or qualified advisers in any field. In particular, nothing on this site is:

Automotive, mechanical or vehicle-purchasing advice. Our reviews of vehicle history report services describe what such reports generally contain and what they cost. A vehicle history report is compiled from third-party records that can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and no report can tell you whether a specific vehicle is safe or sound. Before buying any used vehicle, have it inspected in person by a qualified mechanic and verify the title and paperwork through appropriate channels yourself. Do not rely on us, or on any report we describe, as the basis for a purchase decision.
Financial or investment advice. We describe prices and refund terms. Whether a purchase is a sensible use of your money is a judgement only you can make.
Legal advice. Nothing here is a statement of your legal rights against any seller.
Medical, safety, or trade advice. Our woodworking content discusses plans and instructional material; it is not a substitute for proper training, and it does not address the safety of any tool, technique or workshop practice. Power tools injure people. Follow your tool manufacturer's instructions and applicable safety regulations.

You act on anything you read here at your own discretion and risk. If you need advice about your circumstances, consult someone qualified to give it.

3. Accuracy, and its limits

We try hard to be accurate and we publish our method openly. We still can't promise the site is error-free or current.

Specific limitations you should know about:

Some reviews are research-based, not hands-on. Where that's the case, the review says so at the top and shows no numeric score. It means we have not used the product and are relying on the seller's materials and public evidence.
Prices and terms change without notice. Every price shows the date we checked it. A price that was right on that date may be wrong today, and only the seller's own order page is authoritative on what you will actually pay.
Guarantees and refund terms are set by sellers and by ClickBank, not by us. We report what we could verify. Check the seller's current terms before paying. We cannot process, approve or influence a refund.
Opinions are opinions. Our verdicts are our honest assessments based on the evidence described on each page. Reasonable people can disagree with them.

If you find an error, please tell us. We correct errors and log the correction on the page.

4. Affiliate links

This site earns affiliate commissions. When you buy through one of our links, the seller pays us a percentage through ClickBank at no extra cost to you. Full detail is on the affiliate disclosure page, and every link that leaves this site carries a disclosure near it.

Our commission does not change our verdicts, and no seller pays us for coverage or for a particular conclusion.

5. Third-party sites and sellers

Links from this site lead to sites we don't own or control, including ClickBank and the sellers of the products we review.

We are not a party to any transaction between you and a seller. We don't sell, supply, deliver, support, warrant or refund any product reviewed here. Any purchase is a contract between you and the seller (and ClickBank as their payment processor), governed entirely by their terms and their refund policy. A complaint about a product, a charge or a refund has to go to them; we have no power to resolve it, though we do want to hear about it because it may mean our review needs updating.

We're not responsible for the content, availability, terms, privacy practices or security of any third-party site, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other side of it.

6. Your use of the site

You may read, share, quote and link to anything we publish. Please do.

You may not:

republish substantial portions of our content as your own, or scrape it at scale to reproduce it elsewhere;
use the site or anything on it in a way that breaks the law;
attempt to interfere with, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
misrepresent what we said — including editing a quote so it reads as an endorsement we didn't give.

Short quotations with a clear credit and a link back are fine and welcome.

7. Intellectual property

Product names, logos and trade marks belonging to sellers and other companies are the property of their owners. We use them to identify the products we discuss. That use is nominative and does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or authorisation from those owners beyond the affiliate relationship described in our affiliate disclosure.

Any images supplied by a seller are their property, are used under the terms of their affiliate programme, and are labelled as vendor material where they appear.

8. Availability

We make no promise that the site will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, or remove or amend any page, at any time.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of the site or your reliance on anything published here — including any purchase you make from a third-party seller.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for deliberate misrepresentation.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and you and we each consent to that jurisdiction.

If you're a consumer, this doesn't deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your own country of residence.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms, together with our privacy policy and affiliate disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the site.
